9 month update

MJ had his 9-month Well Baby Check-Up yesterday, which means it's time for a new round of Bean Stats. :)

Here's how our little man stacks up:

Height: 29 1/2" (between 85th and 90th percentile)
Weight: 19 lb 3 oz (30th percentile)
Head: 18" (65th percentile)

I was shocked to find he hadn't yet reached 20 pounds. I thought for sure he'd weigh in at 21 or 22 pounds. To this Mommy, he feels like 50! The pediatrician said the 20 pound marker is a big one; all of the sudden they start to feel HEAVY. He's not kidding. :)

And for all MJ's new chubs and rolls, he only budged 5% in weight. And at nearly the 90th percentile in height, it's safe to say that he's still a string bean!
